A family-founded floral company
Although Mayesh Wholesale officially began in 1978, the Dahlson family’s roots in the flower business trace back to the late 1960s. Founders Roy and Gerrie Dahlson raised their nine children immersed in the floral industry, starting with Roy’s early work on the Los Angeles Flower Market.
CEO Pat Dahlson grew up alongside the business, recalling early morning trips to the Downtown LA Flower Market as a child and learning the trade firsthand. As the family expanded their involvement, they purchased retail flower shops and gained wholesale experience, ultimately leading Roy Dahlson to acquire Jack Mayesh Wholesale, reopening the company under its current name on October 1, 1978.
