# What does "Delivery Date" mean?

## The delivery date determines when product arrives at the branch and which inventory is available

When ordering online with [**Mayesh Wholesale Florist**](https://www.mayesh.com/), the **Delivery Date** refers to the day product is scheduled to **arrive at the branch** based on truck delivery schedules.

The dates shown online represent **truck landing days**, not necessarily the only day you can pick up your order.

### **Why delivery dates matter**

Each delivery date has **specific products and programs assigned to it**. Inventory is planned and allocated by date, meaning:

- The date you select determines which products and programs are available to order
- One week’s inventory may differ from the following week
- Choosing a different delivery date can change available varieties, quantities, or programs

Because of this, selecting the correct delivery date is an important part of the ordering process.

### **Program flexibility by ordering method**

Some online programs are **more flexible** than others:

- **Live & Local** and **PreBook** typically allow you to select from **multiple days within the week**, making pickup and delivery scheduling more straightforward
- Other programs may show **limited delivery dates** based on sourcing and truck schedules

### **Pickup timing after delivery**

If you select a delivery date (for example, Monday) but need to pick up your order later in the week, that is often possible—as long as:

- You **confirm your pickup timing with your sales representative**
- The product can be held appropriately at the branch
