# Do we sell flowers to the public?

## As a wholesale florist, we sell to businesses and individuals with a resale license who work with or in the floral industry - we do not sell to the public.

No. [**Mayesh Wholesale Florist**](https://www.mayesh.com/) does **not** sell flowers to the general public. As a wholesale florist, Mayesh sells exclusively to businesses and individuals who work in or with the floral industry and hold a valid resale license.

### **Who can purchase from Mayesh**

To buy from Mayesh, customers must be a qualified floral professional and provide one of the following (terminology varies by state):

- Resale license
- Seller’s permit
- Reseller’s permit
- Sales tax ID
- Sales & use tax ID
- Transaction Privilege Tax (TPT) license
- Annual resale certificate

### **If your state does not require a resale license**

In states where a resale license is not required, Mayesh will accept a valid **EIN (Employer Identification Number)** for registration and verification.

### **Who Mayesh serves**

Approved customer types include:

- Retail flower shops
- Wedding and event florists
- Floral studios and designers
- Event production and design companies
- Home Studio Florist (workshop located in a personal space)
- Studio Florist (warehouse or commercial space)
- Interior Designer
- Farmer Florist
- Hotel or Event Venue with in-house florals
- Catering Company with in-house florals
- Schools, Universities & other flower education platforms
- Nursery, Plant Grower, or Landscaper
- Churches
- Non-profit Organization with 501(c) and 501(c)(3) status
- Other approved floral or event-related businesses

### **For non-retail customers**

If you are browsing the site, love the flowers, and are **not** a licensed floral professional, Mayesh recommends contacting a local retail florist to ask whether they source flowers from Mayesh.
